Allianz Projects👩🏻💼
As the sole designer at Allianz, I owned the end-to-end design process — from gathering requirements and running user research to shipping features used by over 120,000 insurance agents. My focus was on designing tools that genuinely helped agents do their jobs better, while meeting the operational needs of the business.

What I Learned Designing Alone
Ownership builds confidence — leading the full design function without a design team taught me to make decisions clearly, communicate them well, and take pride in seeing them through.
Non-designers make great design partners — I regularly shared and reviewed my work with developers, BAs, and QA to validate ideas early. Their perspective often made the final design stronger.
Advocating for users is a leadership act — guiding stakeholders toward user-centered decisions, even without a design title above me, helped me grow into a designer who leads through influence.
Community keeps you sharp — solo work is rewarding, but staying connected with other designers brings fresh perspective and reminds me there's always something new to learn.
